Description
Discover the essentials of mushing with hands-on training on the trail. Gain expert knowledge in caring for your canine athlete, selecting the right gear, and mastering basic mushing techniques. This experience equips you with practical skills to confidently enjoy skiing with your dog while ensuring their well-being and performance.
Private classes take place near Fraser, Colorado. Please note that trail conditions can change, so I may need to select an alternative location if necessary.
Skijoring Pricing

Refund Policy
I understand and agree that due to limited spots, full refunds are not available. If I cancel, you will receive approximately 90% refund. Cancellations must be communicated at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the class are non-refundable.
Activity Risk Acknowledgment
Skijoring is an active outdoor activity with inherent risks. You and your dog participate at your own risk, and VADA (Very Amazing Dog Academy) is not responsible for injuries, accidents, or damages. You confirm your dog is healthy and able to participate safely.
Details
Training sessions can take place at your home, online, or at Vada. Each session is tailored to address your dog's unique training and behavior modification goals. Sessions typically last 45 minutes to an hour.
For Skijoring:Sessions are held outdoors on trails and may vary based on snow conditions and ski availability.
Policy
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
- Cancellations:
Due to scheduling and planning requirements, we do not accept cancellations for single packages. You’ll be able to reschedule at no cost within 30 days of your original session.
- Rescheduling:
Need to change your date? No problem! Just email us at info@veryamazingdogacademy.com as soon as you can, and we’ll be happy to find a new time that works. Sessions can be rescheduled within 30 days of the original booking. - No-Shows:
We know things come up, but no-shows are considered missed sessions and unfortunately can’t be refunded.
- Pre-Booking Only:
To keep things running smoothly (and to make sure every dog gets our full attention), we kindly ask that all sessions be booked in advance — no walk-ins, please.
