About the trainer
Hi, I'm Sofia
For nearly two decades, I rescued, trained, and raced a team of Siberian Huskies across Colorado. Mushing taught me not only sport dog training, but also how to read body language, build trust, and create unshakable teamwork.
My Passion and Profession
I earned my degree in Fish, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology from Colorado State University, and later graduated with distinction from CATCH Canine Academy as a certified professional dog trainer.
I went on to found Very Amazing Dog Academy LLC, built on the belief thatany dog can become something truly amazing.
My mission
My mission is simple: to help people build stronger bonds with their dogs through clear communication and lifelong training. In memory of my sled dog team, I also continue to share and promote the evolving world of mushing.
