Description
We're hosting Hike with Your Dog, a 3-4 hour hands-on training hike at Jim Creek Trail, a beautiful, dog-friendly trail that gives us plenty of room to learn, practice, and bond.
Why This Hike?
A regular walk gets your dog some exercise. This hands-on training hike gives you both something more: real skills, real confidence, and a real connection with your dog.
The Details
Date: July 18th
📍 Location: Jim Creek Trail
🕒 Duration: 3- 4 hours, starts at 10:00 AM
If you're new or would like a little extra training before your dog meets the other dogs, we can meet at 9:30 AM. Just let us know in advance by emailing info@veryamazingdogacademy.com.
This optional early training session is a $10 add-on and can be paid via Venmo or cash.

What You'll Learn

Please wear hiking shoes or trail runners. The trails may be muddy and slippery, so come prepared for changing conditions and outdoor terrain.

Details
Training sessions can take place at your home, online, or at Vada. Each session is tailored to address your dog's unique training and behavior modification goals. Sessions typically last 45 minutes to an hour.
For Skijoring:Sessions are held outdoors on trails and may vary based on snow conditions and ski availability.
Policy
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
- Cancellations:
Due to scheduling and planning requirements, we do not accept cancellations for single packages. You’ll be able to reschedule at no cost within 30 days of your original session.
- Rescheduling:
Need to change your date? No problem! Just email us at info@veryamazingdogacademy.com as soon as you can, and we’ll be happy to find a new time that works. Sessions can be rescheduled within 30 days of the original booking. - No-Shows:
We know things come up, but no-shows are considered missed sessions and unfortunately can’t be refunded.
- Pre-Booking Only:
To keep things running smoothly (and to make sure every dog gets our full attention), we kindly ask that all sessions be booked in advance — no walk-ins, please.
